it’s a new theme. i know i am notorious for changing up my sites look on a regular basis; and the reason for me coming to tumblr was for the simplicity of design … well at least one of the reason. but take a look. still simplistic. maybe even more simplistic than before. at least now you have a quick look at the posts and can browse through quickly.
it even has a great search bar. go ahead, start typing in it and *boom voila!* the results show up instantly. precious.
anyway, quick update…
school is good so far. i miss designing and it doesn’t look like I’ll be doing so much of that this quarter … maybe some in 3D. but i want to design more, so I think i’ll be doing that.
social life is good. friends are fantastic and chicago, although still different, hasn’t been terribly hard to adapt to. although this nicer weather is definitely helping out the cause.
entertainment has been sparse in the the film department. although i have just started up my netflix account again and i’ve got a movie here called ‘Night on Earth’ by Jim Jarmusch which I’m really excited to start watching. music on the other hand, I think has taken a jump start since i’ve been back. found a good rock&roll band that i posted about earlier, look through the posts. they’re oddly enough called ROCK&ROLL. it’s good post-strokes music. lollapalooza lineup was just announced this morning which is quite exciting. the line-up is brilliant and i can’t be more excited to see Radiohead and Mark Ronson and the bloc party and also the Brazilian girls. I’ll also be stoked when ‘my girl’ comes to town that weekend.
sports are great, well at least at the moment the white sox have a great 5 game winning streak going for them and they’re in first place. we’ll see how this sounds at the end of the season.
life is good. good things happen to positive people. people need to be positive.
