This is a video that shows Lars Vilks, the Swedish cartoonist who drew Mohammed as a dog, being attacked by a pack of religious extremists while attempting to deliver a lecture on free speech at Uppsala University. One the attackers managed to headbutt the artist and break his glasses.
Blackberry’s new user interface for their upcoming OS version 6. The OS itself looks like it has some promise, but generally the Blackberry OS, from my experience hasn’t been too great. But the video, it has to be the most annoying promo video I’ve ever seen, and not just the music, because I would probably listen to the song itself, but the whole shaky transparent panels and the dancing and oh gosh, everything about it sucks.

The Queens Museum of Art isn’t the only place you can see a miniature New York. Using tilt-shift photography, artist Sam O’Hare created the time-lapse film “The Sandpit” from more than 35,000 pictures taken during a single week last August. With computer editing software, O’Hare manipulated his photos so only narrow planes of focus remained sharp, creating an effect that makes the city look like a model. He then assembled his shots—which range from scenes of crowds entering the Met to construction work at Brooklyn Bridge Park—over an original score.
